The Romantic Prisoner

The Libertarian Alliance has just sent me a reprint of Chris Tame’s extensive analysis of Patrick McGoohan’s television series, The Prisoner. If I had the space, I would reprint it in this newsletter as it makes an entirely convincing case for The Prisoner as romantic, and certainly libertarian, fiction. For those who haven’t seen this paper, it can be obtained from Libertarian Alliance, c/o 3 Langley Court, Covent Garden, London WC2E 9JY, for the American equivalent of 25p. It is titled “Different Values: An Analysis of Patrick McGoohan’s The Prisoner.” and is Libertarian Reprint #1.
