He is the author most often honored and recognized, with a grand total of nine Prometheus awards.<\/p>\n<p>Of those winners, two of the best (which also strongly appeal to boys and men) are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lfs.org\/blog\/lunar-revolution-rational-anarchism-anarcho-capitalism-a-self-aware-computer-ecological-crisis-and-tanstaafl-an-appreciation-of-robert-heinleins-the-moon-is-a-harsh-mistress-a-1983-prom\/\"><i>The Moon is a Harsh Mistress<\/i><\/a>, one of the first two works inducted into the Prometheus Hall of Fame in 1983, and <i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lfs.org\/blog\/slavery-family-and-a-fight-for-liberty-in-a-juvenile-for-all-readers-an-appreciation-of-heinleins-citizen-of-the-galaxy-the-2022-prometheus-hall-of-fame-winner\/\">Citizen of the Galaxy<\/a>,<\/i> perhaps the best of Heinlein\u2019s \u201cjuveniles\u201d (written for a young-adult audience) and inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2022.<\/p>\n<p><a Great stuff! Today the material for kids and young people is too careful\u2026 or too transgressive! It\u2019s too inward looking, too slow paced, and not technical enough to really activate a boy,\u201d L\u2019Amour said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoys need to search maps, wonder how the gravity well of a neutron star could solve a murder, and imagine how the track of an outlaw decays after days of exposure to the weather.
