href=\"http:\/\/www.heinleinsociety.org\">Heinlein Society<\/a> and named after the Grand Master who has won more Prometheus Awards than anyone else, is bestowed for outstanding published works in science fiction and technical writings that inspire the human exploration of space.<\/p>\n<p>According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heinleinsociety.org\/tom-doherty-wins-heinlein-award\">Heinlein Society press release<\/a>, the Heinlein award was given to Doherty in recognition of his work \u201cin bringing the inspiring books of hundreds of authors writing about our future in Space to public awareness.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One of the leading publishers of sf\/fantasy, TOR Publishing Group has won every major award in the sf field \u2013 including Hugo, Nebula and Prometheus awards.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>TOR\u2019S PROMETHEUS-WINNING STREAK<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nIn fact, TOR has published more books that have gone on to win the Prometheus Award for Best Novel than any other publisher.<\/p>\n<p>Of the 45 novels that have won this annual category of the Prometheus Awards, first presented in 1979, 17 were published by TOR \u2013 or about 37.8
