Perhaps even, to some extent, in the Prometheus Awards.<\/p>\n<p>And that makes some sense: Many of the most widely acclaimed Prometheus Hall of Fame winners achieve their powerful and poignant impact via seriously intense dramatics.<\/p>\n<p>Among them: George Orwell\u2019s <em><a href=\"http:\/\/lfs.org\/blog\/the-corruption-of-absolute-power-vs-the-largely-stateless-shire-j-r-r-tolkiens-the-lord-of-the-rings-the-2009-prometheus-hall-of-fame-winner\/\">Nineteen Eighty-Four<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>Ray Bradbury\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lfs.org\/blog\/censorship-book-burning-literature-history-memory-freedom-identity-individualism-and-rebellion-an-appreciation-of-ray-bradburys-fahrenheit-451-a-1984-co-winner-of-the-prometheus-hall\"><em>Fahrenheit 451<\/em>,<\/a> J.R.R. Neil Schulman\u2019s\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lfs.org\/blog\/agorist-dreams-materialize-in-a-near-future-of-runaway-inflation-economic-collapse-j-neil-schulmans-alongside-night-the-1989-prometheus-hall-of-fame-winner\/\">Alongside Night,<\/a> <\/em>Patrick McGoohan\u2019s innovative and surreal 1960s TV series\u00a0<em><a <\/em>and quite a few of Robert Heinlein\u2019s winners, from <em><a href=\"http:\/\/lfs.org\/blog\/lunar-revolution-rational-anarchism-anarcho-capitalism-a-self-aware-computer-ecological-crisis-and-tanstaafl-an-appreciation-of-robert-heinleins-the-moon-is-a-harsh-mistress-a-1983-prom\/\">The Moon is a Harsh Mistress<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>to <em><a href=\"http:\/\/lfs.org\/blog\/love-liberty-longevity-and-lazarus-long-robert-heinleins-time-enough-for-love-the-1998-prometheus-hall-of-fame-winner\/\">Time Enough for Love<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>(for Prometheus appreciation<\/a> that focuses on how Rand focuses on humor, especially in regard to her names for villains.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>FIVE COMEDY FAVORITES<\/strong><br \/>\nBut of the Prometheus Hall of Fame-winning works of fiction that do incorporate humor, only a handful could be accurately and primarily categorized as comedies.<\/p>\n<p><a But sometimes, you need a release &#8211; and you&#8217;ve gotta laugh!
