visionary space projects before they change the world for good or ill, the story reveals some of the super-rich &#8220;Four Horsemen&#8221; to be admirable, and some decidedly not, but McCarthy makes all four real and human as they spearhead innovative private-enterprise projects that governments aren&#8217;t capable or willing to do.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, this Heinlein-esque tale of State-threatened market innovations persuasively counters stereotypes from what free-market economist Ludwig von Mises dubbed &#8220;the anti-capitalist mentality.\u201d<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The other 2022 Best Novel finalists were\u00a0<i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B08RY8JSCB\/ref=nosim?tag=liberfutursoc-20\">Between Home and Ruin<\/a><\/i>\u00a0and <i><a href=\"https:\/\/lfs.org\/blog\/seize-whats-held-dear-karl-gallaghers-best-novel-finalist-explores-cultural-clash-of-customs-battle-for-freedom-against-novel-interstellar-tyranny\/\">Seize What\u2019s Held Dear<\/a>\u00a0<\/i>by Karl K.
