“Torchship” trilogy author Karl Gallagher has organized a podcast featuring most of the authors of this year’s group of Prometheus Award nominees.<\/a> The podcast will be broadcast live at 2 p.m. April 14 (that’s a Saturday) on\u00a0Daddy Warpig’s Geek Gab.<\/a><\/p>\n

Here again are the nominees:<\/p>\n

* Drug Lord: High Ground\u00a0<\/i><\/b>by\u00a0<\/b><\/i>Doug Casey and John Hunt (High Ground Books)
\n*\u00a0Powers of the Earth,\u00a0<\/i><\/b>by Travis Corcoran (Morlock Publishing)
\n*Torchship, Torchship Pilot<\/i><\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0Torchship Captain<\/i><\/b>, by Karl Gallagher (Kelt Haven Press)
\n* Darkship Revenge,<\/i><\/b>\u00a0by Sarah Hoyt (Baen Books)
\n* The Corporation Wars: Emergence<\/i><\/b>\u00a0by Ken MacLeod (Orbit Books)
\n*\u00a0Artemis,<\/i><\/b>\u00a0by Andy Weir (Crown Books)<\/p>\n

Gallagher, who organized the event, says all of the authors have agreed to take part, except for Casey and Hunt, who have schedule conflicts.<\/p>\n

Gallagher reports, “We’ll also be on the Krypton Radio ‘Event Horizon’ but it’s not scheduled yet. The host is reading the books to prepare. That’s recorded in advance so we should be able to find a time for everyone.”<\/p>\n
