Neal Stephenson, a favorite of many of us in the Libertarian Futurist Society, has won the 2018 Robert A. Heinlein Award.<\/a><\/p>\n

The award is given for \u201coutstanding published works in science fiction and technical writings that inspire the human exploration of space.”<\/p>\n

Stephenson has won the Prometheus Award twice, for Seveneves<\/em> and The System of the World,\u00a0<\/em>and our Hall of Fame Award, for Cryptonomicon.<\/em>\u00a0Heinlein has won the Hall of Fame Award seven times<\/a> for works such as The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
